British trade minister to meet top U.S. officials next week, USTR says

WASHINGTON British Trade Minister Liz Truss will meet with top US officials in Washington in the coming days to assess progress in achieving a free trade agreement between the two countries, a spokesman for the Office of the United States Trade Representative.

Truss will meet with United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer on Monday and Tuesday, his office said, confirming a report by the Financial Times.
