German group Siemens Healthineers AG is in advanced talks to buy Varian Medical Systems Inc, a maker of cancer treatment devices and software, in a deal that will value the medical device maker at around $ 15 billion (11.5 billion pounds), the Bloomberg News reported late Saturday.
The deal could be announced in the coming days, the report added, citing sources.
