Today's Google doodle reminds people around the world to wear a mask in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic. The doodle shows all the letters with a face mask. It is also linked to a series of steps designed to prevent the spread of the virus.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Wash your hands often. Use soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Keep a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or bandana when you cough or sneeze.
- Stay home if you don't feel well.
- If you have a fever, cough, and shortness of breath, seek medical attention.
- Calling ahead allows your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health center. This protects you and prevents the spread of viruses and other infections.
