Suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) adviser Tahir Hussain has confessed his role in the northeast Delhi violence that erupted in February this year and admitted that he has incited people to unleash the violence, according to an Interrogation Report. (IR) of the Delhi Police.
Tahir Hussain said he met former JNU student Umar Khalid at the People's Front of India (PFI) office in Shaheen Bagh on January 8.
According to the Delhi Police, Tahir Hussain's task was to collect as many bottles of glass, gasoline, acid, stones as possible on the roof of my house.
Known to Tahir Hussain, Khalid Saifi was tasked with gathering people on the streets to protest.
"Khalid Saifi, together with his friend Ishrat Jahan, started a dharna demonstration in Khureji on the Shaheen Bagh line. On February 4, in the Abu Fazal Enclave, I met with Khalid Saifi to plan the riots," said Tahir Hussain to the police during interrogation
