The Ministry of Health said that the decision has been communicated to the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for additional measures to be taken to facilitate the export of indigenously manufactured fans.
"Now that the export of fans has been allowed, home fans are expected to be in a position to find new markets in foreign countries," he said, adding that there has been substantial growth in the domestic manufacturing capacity of fans.
