July 20 (ANI): The Bramsh solidarity committee organized a massive protest against the murders of Baloch women in Balochistan by death squads and Pakistani paramilitary forces in the Pakistani province of Balochistan on Sunday.
Protesters raised slogans against the increasing human rights violations in Balochistan and against the Harnai incident where the Pakistani army killed Qaisar Chalgarri's family, including their 9-year-old daughter Naz Bibi.
Hakeem Baloch, president of the British area of the National Baloch Movement, said: "The Baloch community in the United Kingdom strongly condemns Pakistan's military action in Balochistan and its death squads."
Abdullah Baloch Balochistan Leader Raji Zrumbesh said: "Pakistan unleashed its death squads to create havoc and terror in Balochistan. They want to scare the entire Baloch community by killing innocent Baloch women and attacking houses to make people feel insecure."
A large number of political activists, intellectuals, women and children in the province of Balochistan are victims of enforced disappearances by the security agencies. Many of them languish in detention centers, while the mutilated bodies of some of these kidnapped Baloch are found in isolated places.
Large numbers of Balochis, who have sought asylum in Europe and other parts of the world, continue to organize protests to enlist the support of the international community and to pressure Pakistan and its security agencies to stop human rights violations in Balochistan. (ANI)
