6 Enforcement Directorate Officials Test Positive, Headquarters Sealed

Six officials from the Directorate of Enforcement have tested positive for coronavirus and the investigative agency's headquarters has been sealed for two days, the sources said. More than 10 officers who came into contact with infected officials were quarantined.
Recently, a junior officer who works at the branch of the headquarters establishment had tested positive for the virus. He was on a delegation to the investigative agency of a central paramilitary force, the PTI news agency reported, citing officials.

The Execution Directorate, a central agency investigating money laundering and hawala crimes, disinfects its office building twice a week, and only those employees who are required to work on any given day report to the office.

This morning, India reported 9,887 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, its highest one-day peak so far. The number of deaths reported in the last 24 hours is 294, bringing the total in India to 6,642. So far, the country has reported more than 2.3 lakh of coronavirus cases, taking it above Italy to become the nation with the sixth highest number of coronavirus cases.
