"Son Has Fever, Can't Find Bed": Man Shouts Outside BS Yediyurappa House Latest

Dramatic scenes were witnessed in Bangalore this afternoon when a man, who claimed to have tested positive for COVID-19, parked outside the official residence of Karnataka's head of government, BS Yediyurappa, after allegedly failing to find a hospital bed for him. .
The videos showed the man standing right in front of the prime minister's official residence with his wife and two children.

The man allegedly kept yelling, "I feel sick. My son has a fever. They told me I'm positive. I'm not going to bed."

However, an assistant to Mr. Yediyurappa denied this and said that he did not go to any hospital but went directly to the home of the Chief Minister.

"He didn't go to any hospital, he came directly here and said he didn't have the money and that's why he came," he said.

The aide also said an ambulance was arranged to take the family to a hospital.

With Karnataka witnessing a sharp increase in coronavirus cases, one of the consequences that has emerged is from people struggling to find hospital beds.
