Chelsea's win sees them go four points clear in the third place over Leicester City and Manchester United, who have a game in hand later this week.
Frank Lampard admitted that Chelsea are struggling with nerves as they pursue a place in the Champions League next season after Olivier Giroud scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over the already relegated Norwich at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday. The victory opens a four-point lead for Chelsea, third-placed, over Leicester and Manchester United, who have a game in hand later this week. But Lampard knows there's still a lot of work to do with a trip to sixth-place champions Liverpool and Wolves, who visit Stamford Bridge on the last day of the season to get to the last two games of the Chelsea season.
"I want more, but that can wait. Where we are as a team and our position at the table, three points is everything," Lampard said.
"If we really want to move on, then it can be better. It is not easy, there is a feeling of nervousness there for understandable reasons."
