International Space Station Spotted From Gujarat, Will Be Seen Today Too Latest

news

The International Space Station (ISS), the third brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon, passed about 400 kilometers over Gujarat on Tuesday night, giving people, especially in Ahmedabad and Rajkot, a glimpse of the wonder of space technology.
The ISS was visible as a bright spot when it emerged from the southwest horizon at 8:35 pm, and disappeared about six minutes later in the opposite direction.

"Due to its current path, the ISS was clearly visible today to people living in Ahmedabad and Rajkot. People in other Gujarat cities may not have seen it clearly, mainly because the ISS did not pass directly over it and remained at an angle" . said Narottam Sahoo, advisor to the Gujarat Science and Technology Council (GUJCOST).

"Those who missed it on Tuesday, there is a possibility on Wednesday when it will be visible for six minutes, starting at 7:48 pm," said Sahoo.
