He Ordered Lotion, Got Rs 19,000 Headphones Instead. Amazon's Response

A Twitter user recently turned to the microblogging platform to report a strange online shopping experience. Gautam Rege, co-founder and director of Josh Software, said he ordered a skin lotion through Amazon for Rs 300, but received Bose headphones worth almost Rs 19,000.

However, what really made Twitter vibrate was Mr. Rege's claim that when he contacted Amazon customer service to return the package, he was told to keep the premium headphones since the item is "non-returnable".

"Is the skin lotion still in stock? Please submit a link," wrote a Twitter user in response to his post. "Hey, I got a skin lotion instead of my Bose headphones. Let's swap," another joked.

Mr. Rege visited Twitter on Wednesday to share a photo of the package she received from Amazon, which shows a box of Bose Soundsport wireless headphones sold on the e-commerce platform for Rs 18,900.
