Goretzka Winner Puts Bayern Within One Victory Of Bundesliga Title

Bayern Munich earned their 13th consecutive victory in all competitions to reestablish their seven-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table with three games remaining.

Bayern Munich moved just one win away from an eighth consecutive Bundesliga title when a late goal from Leon Goretzka sealed a 2-1 victory over Borussia Moenchengladbach at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Teen striker Joshua Zirkzee put Bayern ahead before Benjamin Pavard's goal equalized Gladbach, but Goretzka scored his third goal in five league games with four minutes remaining. Even without suspended Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Mueller, Bayern earned its 13th consecutive victory in all competitions to restore its seven-point lead over Borussia Dortmund to the top of the table with three games remaining.
