J.Anbazhagan

Jayaraman Anbazhagan born on June 10, 1958, in 2001 hebecome MLA first time after that he got elected two more time in 2011 and 2016, He become a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly of Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in the district of Chennai from 2011-2020.

Anbazhagan was a Member of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party, previously he was elected to the Theagaraya Nagar constituency in the 2001 elections and was also defeated in the 2006 elections.

He was elected in the 2011 elections and in 2016 he was reelected from the same Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in the Chennai district.

Anbazhagan was active on most social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. J. Anbazhagan also contributed to the film industry. He produced the film, "Aadhi Baghavan". It was a movie that was released in 2013, and features Jayam Ravi in the lead, along with Neetu Chandra. It used Auro 3D sound technology and is the second of its kind in Asia.

Due to Corona Anbazhagan died on June 10, 2020 at Rela Institute & Medical Center in Chromepet, Chennai, he become the first Indian politician to die from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19)

Anbazhagan, was a loyal supporter of the party, he was also brave and was often known as the second Veerapandy S. Arumugam (a high-ranking leader and former Minister of the Salem DMK who died a few years ago) within the DMK.

Political Career

 2001 J. Anbazhagan was elected and became the MLA of the Theagaraya Nagar constituency. He served there for five years, until 2006.
 2011 He was elected to the Tamil Nadu Assembly from the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni post.
 2016 He was re-elected from the same Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in the Chennai district.
