Death toll in China's oil tanker explosion rises to 18
The death toll from an oil tanker explosion in east China's Zhejiang province rose to 18, local authorities said on Sunday.
About 166 injured people are receiving treatment in hospitals, the Wenling City Advertising Department said.
The explosion took place Saturday near a town along the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway, the department said.
A second explosion occurred when the exploded truck fell onto a workshop near the highway. The explosions resulted in the collapse of some residential houses and factory workshops.
